What does a day in the life of Leila Hurst look like?
Wake up, cereal, check the surf, go surf, go to the gym, eat, computer time, check waves again, surf, eat dinner, SLEEP.

Where is the coolest place/ best trip you have ever been on?
Hossegor, France, only because of the food. If you care about your figure I would not recommend going there.
How did you get started with surfing?
I grew up with nothing but water surrounding me and a dad that loves the ocean.
Tell us about an awesome experience you’ve had lately.
I got a chance to experience winning the World Junior Title for 2012. It was the best feeling ever.
What was it like to give a speech (while accepting your award at the ASP Awards) in front of all of your idols?
It was the scariest thing ever! I was shaking like never before. So happy I got it over with! Ahhhh!
Who is your biggest influence or inspiration?
Honestly, I believe Jesse Billauer is my biggest inspiration. He is absolutely amazing.
What’s the best part about being a pro athlete?
I get to travel the world!
What does “Follow Us” mean to you?
Go out and explore the world!
Favorite ZEAL product?
I love the Felicity. They have attitude.
What do you love to do besides surf?
I love to be healthy, sing (I suck) and I love to experience things that make me appreciate life, like volunteering for Life Rolls On.
What do you give up to do what you love?
I give up my money to the airlines when they charge me hundreds of dollars for 2 boards! haha!
Is it worth it?
Yes, Anything is worth it when it comes to surfing.
Is your sport a passion or obsession to you?
I would say both.. I am so passionate about it. And at the same time I’m obsessed with it because I feel like I absolutely HAVE to surf every day.

I am loving the ZEAL family! Lets go to the SNOW!
