This past week the ZEAL team hit Manhattan and met up with NYC editors to show off the new 2013 goggle collection and the newest ZEAL shades. ZEAL pro snowboarder Kimmy Fasani and pro skier Caroline Gleich also flew in from the west to share their stories and input on the line with the press. From the SIA Summer Snowdown to an exclusive farm to table press preview at Riverpark in Manhattan, the ZEAL crew was bustling in NYC and sharing the good word for the upcoming season.

In the midst of the busy press day, a storm burst on the big apple and the team was stuck right in the midst of it. With hail pelting, waterfalls forming off the surrounding buildings, and lake-sized puddles, it was quite the adventure to hail a taxi!

The second night, ZEAL hosted a farm to table press preview with a small group of editors. The skies cleared and the organic garden next to Riverpark: A Tom Colicchio Restaurant glistened with dew. It was an awesome night and ZEAL’s new sunglasses shapes were introduce to a great group of editors which included publications like Whole Living, Men’s Journal, Shape, Self, Fitbie, Treehugger, Highsnobiety and more. The theme of the night surrounded the idea that you know where your food comes from, but do you know where your sunglasses come from?
