We are proud to say that, as of this past week, ZEAL has officially launched in Europe! We rolled out the ZEAL brand in Paris, France at the SILMO tradeshow. Although we are newcomers to the European market, the huge buzz and excitement surrounding ZEAL was clearly driven by the launch of our new HD Camera goggle.
And the fun doesn’t stop there! As we continue to roll out to all countries in Europe, the excitement continues to build. The open, stylish layout of our booth lent a hand in showcasing the products and drawing in new consumers and ZEAL’s revolutionizing environmental initiatives were the talk of the show. The team of French reps, led by Eric Gonguet, really cranked the European launch into gear. From the chic, downtown Parisian optical shoppes to the mountain resorts in the Alps, the brand was being talked about, brought in and launched with tons of enthusiasm!
With the announcement of our launch to the Optical Industry press, John Sanchez, ZEAL’s new president and Joe Prebich, ZEAL’s Director of Marketing, were slammed with interviews for almost three days straight. We were also visited by the top three French TV stations to drive the excitement surrounding the ZEAL HD Camera Goggle. Everyone was intrigued and excited to talk about a new brand from a family they all already know and love, Maui Jim.
Friday night in Paris was incredible as it was also the close of Fashion Week! ZEAL hosted a launch party at one of the hottest and hippest venues in the city, La Maison de l’Architecture. This recently restored chapel served as the launching platform for an evening of fun, drinks and great music! The local who’s who mixed and mingled with big names in optical media as ZEAL videos rolled on in the background.
Closing the show strong with 4 days of activation both on the streets and at the show, ZEAL Optics has had an amazing experience. France already feels like home and this is just the beginning! Europe…here we come!
