Meet Tommy Danger

Tommy has always wanted to just explore—even in the cornfields of Indiana where he grew up. He didn't have mountains so he stuck to climbing trees and most of his neighbors houses. Tommy had an itch inside of him that needed to be scratched as he would wake up at 5am as a child and head out to the lake to catch turtles, frogs, and snakes just for the adventure of it. As he got older, he wanted to do so much. He would see pictures and dream of going there; but at the time, he didn't think it was possible until he met Carl Drew. Together, they planned to ride their bikes across America to help at-risk teens. It wasn't until the day that they set off that Tommy knew he could truly live his dreams.

Today, Tommy runs a non-profit called More Than Just Me where he uses a different array of adventures to drive awareness to causes around the world. His current project is More Than Just Mountains, where Tommy is climbing the Seven Summits with two friends to shine a light on Cystic Fibrosis. It's been almost 10 years since Tommy made this massive change in his life and since then he has rode his bike from Los Angeles to Boston, ran from Seattle to Daytona Beach, and has completed six of the Seven Summits. "Extract yourself. Get out and fail, fear, and learn. Live your life. Don't get caught up with others. Do you. Be bigger than Yourself. Use your abilities, talents, and love to help others worldwide. We are one."
